Remember our blog back in autumn about the new Honda XL750 Transalp? The one where we were saying how hot the mid-range adventure bike market was getting?
Now the latest contender has been into the Fuel Exhausts workshop for measuring and template fitting, and our British made aftermarket motorcycle exhausts are in stock and available for the incredible new Suzuki V Strom 800DE / RE.
This new member of the V Strom lineup is going to be a massively popular bike, and for good reason, so it was a no-brainer that it had to join the Fuel Exhausts family.

The 800DE shares Suzuki’s brand new 776cc parallel twin engine with its naked roadster cousin, the GSX-8S (try saying that when you’ve had a few!) The power plant is coupled to a super silky quickshifter gearbox and incredibly capable suspension to deliver a spirited and assured ride.
Sure, it’ll eventually come unstuck if you point it far enough down a squelchy green lane. But be fair on it, it’s not designed for that stuff. If you, like the other 99% of adventure bike riders, want a bike that’s fully ready to set off on a long-distance trip which is mostly road but with enough gravel thrown in to make it exciting, then this bike has got to be among the strongest contenders for the job.
Superbly designed ergonomics make the Suzuki V Strom 800 incredibly comfortable for all day riding, and the huge choice of riding modes and settings make it a confident performer whatever’s under the tyres. Five levels of traction control, including ‘gravel’, and three levels of throttle response make it supremely capable even for relatively inexperienced riders. So if you want a bike that’ll eat up many miles of tarmac with ease, confidently tackle the twisties, and take good care of you while you play on the gravel tracks, then the 800 DE is the bike you need.
